CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF YOUR LOVED ONE IN A KEEPSAKE TO TREASURE FOREVER

Remembrance Glass~Ashes in Glass

I lost my voice, then found it in fire — and with it, a way to hold onto what matters.

After the death of my Dad in 2022, my work with glass changed. It became more than creation — it became remembrance. That was the beginning of my Remembrance Glass collection: handcrafted keepsakes infused with ashes, designed to hold memory in a form that feels beautiful, lasting, and deeply personal.

Each piece is made in honour — a way to preserve love, reflect grief, and carry someone forward. I consider it a privilege to work with families creating these tributes, whether through jewellery or delicate glass flowers.

Remembrance Glass FAQ's

  • How much ash is needed?

Just a small amount of about 1/2 teaspoon of ash is required for a Remembrance Glass piece.

  • I don’t really want to touch the ashes myself. Can you help?

If you are in Perth, absolutely! I completely understand the emotional difficulty involved. You can bring all of the ashes to my studio in Whiteman Park, and I will remove what is required for you.

  • Will I see the ash in the finished piece?

That is completely up to you and depends on the glass used. My normal process encases the ash in clear glass so it can still be seen, but opaque glass can be used and only you will know that your piece contains ash. Please let me know when ordering if you don't wish to see the ash in the finished piece.

  • Is it only ash that can be used in a Remembrance Glass piece?

Yes. Any other material will not tolerate the extreme heat required to melt glass. I do offer some pendant alternatives to glass that you can fill yourself with ash, glass or hair.

  • Can you combine the ash of two or more loved ones in the same piece?

Yes, that is possible and I can do that for you.

  • How do I get the ash to you?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation with the shipping address for your ash. I suggest sending it by tracked mail in a secure container. When it arrives, I will let you know that it has been received safely.

  • What happens if you have leftover ash?

Any unused ash will be returned to you with your finished piece/s.

  • Is it possible to view samples?

Yes. If you are in Perth, you're welcome to visit my studio in Whiteman Park to view samples and discuss options. Contact me to make an appointment.

  • How long does it take to make my order?

Once I have received the ashes, your order will be custom made, normally within 10-14 days. I will then ship your order out to you using Australia Post tracked shipping. This can take up to 2 weeks within Australia.

  • How much is shipping?

Shipping is free within Australia.
