What we do
Bold, botanical, and a little bit badass.
At The Glass Flower Bar, we handcraft glass and wire flowers, along with statement jewellery for women who don’t do subtle. Each piece blends industrial edge with artistic flair — designed for those who refuse to settle for ordinary.
From our flame-lit studio in Perth, Western Australia, we use the ancient art of lampworking and colourful glass to create one-of-a-kind pieces and limited collections. Every stem and element is shaped by hand, crafted for women who want something truly unique — unapologetically bold and beautifully individual.

Meet our Founder and Flamekeeper, Jennie.
I didn’t start out with glass — I started out on a stage.
I grew up dancing, singing, always standing tall in a crowd. But over time as life happened, my confidence slipped. I softened my edges, dimmed my light. And somewhere in that shift, I lost the woman I used to be.
But one thing stayed constant: creativity.
In 2004 I started making jewellery — designing pieces I couldn’t find anywhere else. I loved working with wire and glass beads, but I wanted more than what was available to everyone. I wanted to make the pieces I dreamed of.
So I picked up a torch and tried lampworking — just to make my own beads. But what followed changed everything.
Within a few years, I’d developed a signature technique: melting glass directly onto wire, shaping botanical forms, and wrapping them into bold, sculptural jewellery. Collars, brooches, wild pendants — all designed by hand, all unlike anything else I’d seen. That was my aha moment.
This was no longer just a sideline. It was mine — my voice, my process, my way of standing out again.
Today, my work is an extension of that rediscovery. Glass is a material of contradiction — strong yet fragile, solid yet transparent, industrial but beautiful. It reflects everything I love about the women I create for: bold, unique, layered, impossible to overlook.
My studio is my happy place. The flame, the movement, the transformation — it’s meditative and creative, and I know I’ll never master it. That’s the point. This work satisfies my soul.
Now, I make glass flowers and statement jewellery for women like me — women finding their voice again. Women who want to feel powerful, beautiful, and fully themselves.
Women who refuse to fade.
